Our Vision
Our vision is to create a network of Brain Buddies across the globe.
Connecting people who have undergone and/or who are considering having brain surgery, providing them specialist information and care so that they feel more connected, more supported and more valued.
We believe that no one should have to embark on this journey alone.
Our Goals
Brain Buddy was established in 2016 by Lisa Upton and Sarah Bullock Chase with the aim of providing support and advice service for people who had been affected by neurological conditions and who were considering having brain surgery.
After the success of Brain Buddies first talk in 2017 a collaboration has been underway with Patients, Neurologists, Neurosurgeons and Neuro psychologist at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Brain Buddy has grown considerably and now also supports patients, families and friends post surgery.
Brain Buddy has recently been awarded funding from The National Brain Appeal which means that we can continue to provide much needed support and advice to individuals, families and friends pre and post surgery through quarterly talks networking events and patient information brochures.
