Free to attend Brain Buddy talks and networking events are provided at NHNN Queen Square London, the talks and networking events are open to anyone. Within them, a team of Neurologists, Neurosurgeons and Neuropsychologists from NHNN share more about medical advances, research and funding of epilepsy surgery. Attendees have the opportunity to ask questions to gain further clarity, insight and understanding.
Events will follow different themes / set ups, but the physical and emotional effects of epilepsy surgery are often focused on, giving people the opportunity to hear about different lived experiences and ask questions. Also, we interview a panel of Neurologists, Neurosurgeons and Neuropsychologists from NHNN ar to learn more about medical advances, research, and funding of epilepsy surgery and ask questions to gain further clarity insight and understanding of different areas.

Two patients who have had epilepsy surgery will be sharing their journey.
You will be able to ask questions and be around others who want to listen, share their experiences with you and offer support within a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Consultant neurologists, Profs John Duncan and Matthew Walker and other members of the epilepsy team will be there to answer any questions you have.
